Made some turkey burgers over the weekend. Really good. This recipe is from Weight Watchers.

½ lb ground turkey
¼ c BBQ sauce
2 T chopped green chilies, drained
2 slices pepper jack cheese
sandwich thins

Mix turkey, sauce and chilies and broil/grill until done (10-14 min, turning once).

I changed it up a little and used Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies) instead of chilies only. I also used sharp cheddar instead of pepper jack.

The best thing about this was I was full but it didn't set heavy on my stomach. This is a really good, filling, light meal.

Sounds good. We eat a lot of ground turkey. I make burgers, meatloaf, chili, spaghetti sauce. It is supposed to be healthier than beef.

I have added a twist to my turkey burgers...I mix sausage into mine to add a little different flavor to it. They are really good grilled this way.

I like the taste of sage with turkey, whether for burgers or roasting; so, I like the idea of mixing in sausage, which may have sage in it.
